We don’t estimate. We measure.

Briskfil carries out comprehensive testing and verification of compressed air, nitrogen and oxygen systems using its own calibrated equipment at your facilities, without relying on third parties.

What you don’t measure, you can only guess. And guessing purity, moisture or consumption is the quietest way for a system to cost you money for years.

Why testing is critical

In a gas system, every problem is invisible until it isn’t.

A generator can maintain pressure, sound normal and pass a visual inspection while still delivering gas below the specified purity. A compressed air network can lose a fifth of its flow through leaks that no one can hear. Adsorbents can deteriorate for months without triggering a single alarm.

Testing is the way to detect these issues while they are still inexpensive to fix.

  • Before investing — measure actual demand and load profile to size the system according to your operation, rather than an estimate
  • Upon commissioning — verify that the installation delivers the specified purity, pressure and flow rate
  • During operation — Verify that performance has not drifted and detect degradation before it becomes a breakdown.
  • For compliance — Document air and gas quality for clients, auditors, and certification bodies.
01

Purity of gases

Quantitative and qualitative determination of nitrogen and oxygen purity. We validate that the gas received by the process is the gas that was specified.

N₂ · O₂
02

Humidity and dew point

Measurement of the pressure dew point throughout the system. Moisture is the most destructive and underestimated contaminant in a PSA system.

Dew point
03

Particles

Particle counting and size distribution, with reporting according to the purity classes of the ISO 8573-1 standard.

ISO 8573-1
04

Residual oil and oil vapor

Determination of oil according to the ISO 8573-5 standard — the most common contaminant whenever lubricated compressors are present.

ISO 8573-5
05

Microorganisms

Total germ count per sample, with analysis by an accredited laboratory. Critical in the food, pharmaceutical, and hospital sectors.

ISO 8573-7
06

Flow rate, pressure, and consumption

Logging of actual consumption and load profile over time. Reveals oversizing, pressure drops, and the cost of operating above required levels.

Data logging
07

Leaks

Ultrasonic detection throughout the network, locating and quantifying losses that never appear on a pressure gauge.

How it works

1. Framework We define what you need to prove and why — a client requirement, a certification, a suspected issue, or a baseline reference before investing.

2. On-site measurement. Sample collection and logging at critical system points, planned around your production for minimal impact. No prolonged downtime.

3. Analysis. Data interpreted in context — a reading only means something alongside the system it came from. Microbiological samples are sent to an accredited laboratory.

4. Report and recommendations. Documented report by contaminant class and, where applicable, a quality certificate. Where results fall outside specification, you also receive corrective actions — not just the bad news.

Frequently asked questions

Briskfil has its own calibrated instruments for measuring purity, dew point, particles, oil, flow rate, pressure, and leaks, carrying out the testing directly at your facilities. Only microbiological samples are sent for analysis to an accredited laboratory in accordance with the ISO 8573-7 standard.

In most cases, no. Sample collection and data logging are scheduled around your production timeline and conducted at critical system points to minimize operational impact.

ISO 8573 is the international reference standard for compressed air quality. It identifies the main contaminants—particles, water, and oil, as well as gaseous and microbiological contaminants—and defines purity classes and test methods. Compliance with it is what allows you to demonstrate air quality to customers, auditors, and certification bodies.

It depends on the sector and application. Regulated environments, such as food, pharmaceutical, and medical/hospitality, typically analyze on an annual basis or as required by certification. In other cases, testing is recommended following any system modification, upon commissioning, and periodically as a safeguard against product defects and unplanned downtime.
